The Soul Pilgrims formed to bring you the very best in live soul and funk with an authentic 1960s sound.

Featuring an incredible line up of hammond n horns, the musicians in this seven piece band have played hundreds gigs all over the UK and Europe and been selling out London’s Jazz Cafe annually for many years with their legendary live shows.

Soul Pilgrims musicians have decades of experience working together under different guises for various artists, such as the Jezebel Sextet,  Mudibu (JP Bimeni and The Blackbelts), Sir Joe Quarterman (Free Soul), Alexia Coley, Rev Chunky (The New Mastersounds), Matt Henry (Olivier Award winner and The Voice finalist), Liz Swain (Heritage Orchestra), Paris Ruel, Sulene Fleming (Brand New Heavies) and Randa Khamis (Freestyle Records). 

Samantha Antoinette Bio
Samantha Antoinette is a leading British gospel-rooted blues and soul vocalist who’s sung all over the world from major arenas and festivals to intimate jazz and blues clubs.

Raised in a West Indian household in Britain, she began singing in church from childhood and joined The London Community Gospel Choir at 16, going on to spend 21 years as one of its leading voices.

As a backing vocalist she’s toured internationally with Jamiroquai, Depeche Mode, Erasure, and appeared alongside artists such as Tina Turner, George Michael, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Mariah Carey and more.

Now focused her own projects and live shows, she released her debut EP I Got Me a Plan in 2022, selling out venues across London and the UK in subsequent tour dates.

She tours internationally with Danish blues outfit Samantha Antoinette & The Chargers and also tours Brazil as featured vocalist with The Simi Brothers, appearing at Blues nas Ruas (Búzios), Confrailha Blues, and Santa Jazz.

A lifelong fan of Aretha Franklin, she is also Music Director for the Amazing Grace project connected with Oh Freedom! Festival, bringing gospel and blues storytelling to the stage.
